Amorphous

A standing figure rendered in layered glaze on dark red stoneware. Two glazes were applied to bisque stoneware tiles in overlapping layers then fired to cone 6 oxidation to create the values and overall composition. Pale blues and creamy whites swirl and mix over the surface, giving the skin a weathered, ancient quality.
